About

Born and raised in the West Island of Montreal, becoming a fan of les Canadiens de Montreal was a natural process. The city lives and breathes hockey and it did not take very long for me to jump on board. During the 1990s, I casually watched the team sore to the greatest heights professional hockey players can achieve in 1993, but also witnessed the team plummit to unthinkable lows towards the end of that decade and in the early 2000s.

My interest has been constant and borderline fanatical since the dawn of the Gainey administration, and I intend to manifest that passion in my writing here. With the team experiencing a complete turnaround post-July 1st 2009, I felt the need to broadcast my thoughts, views, opinions on this gloried franchise and the uncertain times ahead. With optimism in mind, I intend to use this blog as a medium to cover all things Habs, as well as touch on various other topics surrounding the NHL in general.

I sincerely hope you enjoy.
